Music Museum

The collection of the Museu de la Música traces the history of music through instruments dating from the 16th century up to the present.

The pianos belonging to Joaquim Malats, Amadeu Vives and Otto Kibuntz are worth noting, as are the six organs, one of which dates from the 18th century and comes from the Santa Catarina convent, now disappeared.

There are other interesting pieces as well, such as harps, harpsichords, guitars, violins, violas and even a saxophone that belonged to the inventor himself, Adolphe Sax.
